THE MANUFACTURING PROCESS
TMT (Thermo Mechanically Treated) bars and billets are used on a large scale in various applications. The manufacturing process involves a range of processes that make the product durable and strong. For manufacturing TMT bars, the essential steps involved are self-tempering, quenching, and atmospheric cooling.
THE TIA QUALITY CHECKS
Bhumija follows the TIA (Testing. Inspection. Assurance) process as a quality-check mechanism. All the products go through stringent quality checks. These checks guarantee flawless product delivery to the consumer. Have a look at the TIA mechanism.
Testing
The product is tried and tested under various conditions to check its resistance. This aspect helps us to deliver only the finest products to the end-user and customers. This process also traces the materials in various production stages.
Inspection
The next step is to inspect the product for any defects or flaws. All the checks are made through a hybrid manual-auto mechanism. All the processes are a mix of automatic and manual controls. The product is inspected and scrutinized for a slight error.
Assurance
To assure last-step checks, the product is traced and identified till the dispatch process. This step ensures that the product is not damaged or defective till it is dispatched and delivered. Furthermore, we also have state-of-the-art machinery and technology to enable seamless production process and offer great products to our clients. Having an annual capacity of 59000 TMT, our client is assured a dispatch within 24 hours of placing an order.
RAW MATERIAL HANDLING
Our handling of raw materials makes us one of the most cost-effective and sustainable steel makers among others. We process raw materials through the magnet and manual segregation, bundle scrap, and the cutting of over-sized scrap.
